This EFT for Traumatic Birth Tele-Circle is for mothers, fathers, partners and others who have experienced
trauma from giving birth or from witnessing a labor or birth. It may also be helpful for those who have
experienced trauma due to postpartum issues or pregnancy loss.
A tele-circle is an EFT group that meets via conference call. In our tele-circles, I will work with one or two
volunteers on their specific issues. Everyone else will tap along with the volunteers, using a technique
called Borrowing Benefits.
Borrowing Benefits is a fantastic way to work on your own issues with EFT. You can choose what you'd like
to work on, then simply sit back and tap along with our volunteer(s).
Many people find that they get results very quickly and almost effortlessly with this method. An important
bonus is that even issues carrying a strong emotional intensity can often be handled with minimal to no
distress. This may be because you aren't actively "tuning in" to your own issues; you're tapping for and with
the volunteer whose issues are being addressed. However, even though you aren't focusing on your
issues, your brain will still find the similarities to things you may have experienced. As you tap with the
volunteer, your own emotional charge will most often begin to ease. It may even disappear completely!
Instructions for the Borrowing Benefits process will be mailed to you on registration. If you would like to
volunteer, please use this form.
The cost for this 90 minute tele-circle is $25, or $30 if you would like to attend both sessions listed above. A
woman and her partner may attend for a single fee. Cost for volunteers is $20, though I may choose to
reduce or waive that fee if there is financial need.
